In the Blue Zone, America Is All In convened Governors Gavin Newsom of California and Michelle Lujan Grisham of New Mexico alongside civil society leaders to showcase the breadth and potential of climate action by U.S. subnational actors. In a conversation with former UNFCCC Executive Secretary Christiana Figueres, Gov. Newsom reiterated California’s commitment to lead on climate and reminded those in the United States to “go local” and keep the forward momentum on climate action.
