Today in the Blue Zone, BCSE supporter CALSTART celebrated Brazil and Mexico signing Drive to Zero’s Global MOU to accelerate zero-emission trucks, buses, and infrastructure. Forty-two nations have now signed the MOU, representing 1/4 of heavy duty vehicles in the world. The event featured Kara H. Hurst, Chief Sustainability Officer for Amazon, who discussed the company’s commitment to decarbonize 100,000 vehicles by 2030 and pilot the first heavy duty electric trucks in Brazil.
