June 28 – Roundtable & Reception: Building Pathways for Economic Prosperity & Energy Security

This is an invite only event and participation will be based on final confirmation.

On the eve of the IEA’s 11th Annual Global Conference on Energy Efficiency, you are cordially invited to power up for the week ahead by participating in a roundtable discussion and an afternoon of networking on Sunday, June 28, from 1:00 – 5:00 pm ET in Montreal, Canada. This invite-only roundtable will bring together senior leaders – policy makers, executives, researchers, and advocates – who are united by a commitment to deploy energy efficiency solutions, to explore the following questions:

  • How is investment in energy efficiency helping countries to meet electricity load growth and create better economic pathways?
  • How do we reduce the energy and economic-related vulnerability of countries? What is the role of demand-side strategies?
  • How can economies improve performance by improving efficiency? What can be done at the local level?

In the spirit of global collaboration and connecting energy efficiency leaders, all roundtable participants are invited to adjourn to the hotel terrace for an afternoon of relaxed conversation and refreshments with a broad network of energy efficiency leaders. Special remarks by Canadian hosts to be announced.
