Founded in 2006, MIT Energy Conference is the largest student-led energy & climate conference in North America. Each year, we gather hundreds of industry professionals, investors, scholars and policymakers to present, learn and discuss pressing challenges and opportunities that redefines the future of the energy and climate sectors. In 2022, we brought together 63 domestic and international speakers to over 1,000 attendees, and 70% of the ticket holders were from the industry.
The 2023 MIT Energy Conference will bring together 80+ experts across three key fields —technology, finance, and global policy—to discuss critical solutions that will shape the future of the energy and climate landscape. Attendees will have more than 16 panel discussions to choose from and 60 climate tech startup companies to browse, featuring energy & climate leaders from the U.S. and abroad, covering topics such as the energy crisis, global energy transition pathways, climate tech development trend, investment and deployment, and much more.
Conference-goers will also have unparalleled access to formal and informal networking opportunities. In addition to our 80+ speakers, panelists, and moderators, attendees will have the opportunity to meet industry peers, startup companies, venture capitalists, energy-minded Sloan MBAs, MIT graduate students, MIT undergraduate students, and enthusiastic students from other universities.
