BCSE Statement in Response to the American Families and Jobs Act
June 12, 2023

Washington, D.C. – Lisa Jacobson, President of the Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE), offered the following statement in response to the proposed American Families and Jobs Act, which would eliminate or modify several existing clean energy and transportation tax policies:

“Federal clean energy and clean transportation tax credits are driving billions of dollars of investment across the country. This momentum is contributing to the onshoring of manufacturing and the creation of jobs that are critical to creating a competitive, secure, and prosperous America. We urge Congress to maintain these key incentives and work together across political lines to deliver affordable and reliable clean energy solutions to Americans nationwide.”
